Summary: The complainant has requested information concerning the secondment to another organisation of an employee of the National School of Government (NSG). NSG refused this request, citing the exemption provided by section 40(2) of the FOIA. The Commissioner-™s decision is that NSG has applied the exemption provided by section 40(2) correctly and so it is not required to disclose this information. This decision notice is currently under appeal to the Information Tribunal.
