Summary: The complainant has requested information about persons who were granted indefinite leave to remain under the Case Resolution Directorate (-CRD-) programme. The public authority advised the complainant that to comply with his request would exceed the appropriate limit. The Information Commissioner-s decision is that the public authority applied section 12(1) appropriately. The Information Commissioner further concludes that the public authority did not comply with its duty under section 16 of the Act to provide advice and assistance. The Information Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any steps.
