Summary: The complainant requested information from the Cabinet Office relating to Ministry of Defence contracts reviewed as part of the Efficiency and Reform Group-™s efficiency review. The Cabinet Office disclosed some information within the scope of the request, withholding the remainder under the prejudice to effective conduct of public affairs, information provided in confidence and commercial interests exemptions of FOIA (sections 36, 41 and 43). The Commissioner has investigated and found that the exemption provided by section 43 is engaged. He requires no steps to be taken.
