Summary: The complainant has requested the email address of two members of the public authority-s staff. The public authority (the -CPS-) initially refused to provide them but disclosed the information following the Commissioner-s intervention. The Commissioner-s decision is that the CPS has contravened a number of its procedural obligations when handling this request. These relate to the timeliness of CPS- response and the detail that must be provided when refusing to provide requested information. The Commissioner does not require the CPS to take any steps because it has now disclosed the requested information to the complainant.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 10 - Complaint Upheld, FOI 17 - Complaint Upheld
