Summary: The complainant has requested information about the Legal Ombudsman-™s appointment procedures and staff. The Commissioner-™s decision is that the Legal Ombudsman (LeO) has correctly applied section 40(2). However he found the LeO to be in breach of section 10(1) of the FOIA for failing to respond to the requests within 20 working days. The Commissioner does not require the LeO to take any steps.
