Summary: The complainant has requested information relating to the payment for private education for the public authority-™s staff. Some information was provided but the remainder was refused on the grounds that provision would exceed the appropriate limit at section 12(1) of the FOIA. The Information Commissioner-™s decision is that the public authority has correctly applied section 12(1) of FOIA as a basis for non-disclosure of the requested information. However, it did breach section 16.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 12 - Complaint Not upheld, FOI 16 - Complaint Upheld
