Summary: The complainant has requested information from the Ramsbury and Wanborough Surgery (the -�Practice-�) concerning the surgery and its expenditure for 2009-2011. The Practice initially provided some information but argued the remainder was commercially sensitive. During the course of the investigation it explained that it does not hold total GP pay, dispensary income and profit figures for the purposes of the FOIA as it cannot separate the NHS information requested from the combined NHS and private information that it holds. The Commissioner-�s decision is that the Practice does hold total GP pay, dispensary income and profit figures for the purposes of the FOIA. However he considers this information to be exempt under section 43(2) of the FOIA. He therefore does not require any steps to be taken.
