Summary: The complainant has requested information concerning the undertaking given by the Cabinet Office to the ICO concerning the handling of information requests. The Cabinet Office refused to disclose some of the information requested and cited the exemptions provided by sections 22 (information intended for future publication) and 44 (statutory prohibitions) of the FOIA as its grounds for refusing the request. The Commissioner-™s decision is that the Cabinet Office did not deal with the request correctly in that neither of the exemptions cited are engaged.
