Summary: The complainant requested information relating to a company which undertakes particular roles at Leigh Sports Village. Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council (-˜the Council-™) provided some information and stated that other information was not held. During the course of the Commissioner-™s investigation the Council disclosed some additional information relevant to the request. The Commissioner-™s decision is that the Council holds no additional information within the scope of the request, other than that which has been provided to the complainant. However, the Commissioner finds that the Council breached section 10 of the FOIA in failing to provide the information disclosed during his investigation within the statutory time period. The Commissioner requires no further steps to be taken.
