Summary: The complainant has requested information relating to a terminated maintenance contract. As part of its response the public authority provided some information, stating that this was all it held, but the complainant did not agree. The Information Commissioner-™s decision is that the public authority-™s response was late and also that it only took into consideration one objective reading of the request. The Information Commissioner requires the public authority to reconsider a broader reading of the request and issue a fresh response in compliance with the FOIA.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 1 - Complaint Upheld, FOI 10 - Complaint Upheld, FOI 17 - Complaint Upheld
