Stoke-on-Trent City Council (Decision Notice) [2013] UKICO FS50465037 (07 February 2013)

Summary: The complainant has requested information relating to companies providing domiciliary care services to Stoke-on-Trent City Council (the -council-). The council provided some of the requested information but withheld details of the hourly rates paid to providers under the exemption for prejudice to commercial interests. The Commissioner-s decision is that the council has correctly applied the prejudice to commercial interests exemption and that the public interest favours maintaining the exemption. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any steps. Information Tribunal appeal number EA/2013/0026 withdrawn.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 43 - Complaint Not upheld
