BAILII is celebrating 24 years of free online access to the law! Would you consider making a contribution?
No donation is too small. If every visitor before 31 December gives just £1, it will have a significant impact on BAILII's ability to continue providing free access to the law.
Thank you very much for your support!

Summary: The complainant has requested information relating to the provision of augmentative and alternative communication devices by the NHS. Salford Primary Care Trust (Salford PCT) refused to comply with the request as it said it would exceed the cost limit under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) to do so. The Commissioner considers that section 12 of FOIA was applied correctly in this case. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 12 - Complaint Not upheld
