Cambridgeshire Constabulary (Decision Notice) [2013] UKICO FS50481517 (04 July 2013)

Summary: The complainant requested information about Cambridgeshire Constabulary-s (-the Constabulary-) conclusion that certain allegations he had made which it had investigated revealed no evidence of criminal behaviour. He also requested information about its assertion that it had considered charging him with wasting police time. The Constabulary refused the request under section 14(1) of the FOIA as it considered it vexatious. The Commissioner-s decision is that the requests are vexatious and that section 14 was applied correctly. The Constabulary is therefore not obliged to comply with the request.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 14 - Complaint Not upheld
