Summary: The complainant requested a copy of the Wyn Mears Report into the translation profession in Wales. The Welsh Language Commissioner (-˜the WLC-™) refused the request on the basis of section 44(1)(a) of the FOIA. The Commissioner-™s decision is that the WLC has correctly relied on section 44(1)(a) of the FOIA to withhold the information.
