Summary: The complainant submitted two requests for information dated 20 and 21 December 2012 to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) about -˜Operation Douglas-™. The CPS has failed to provide a formal response which was compliant with the requirements of FOIA to either request. The CPS breached section 10(1) of FOIA by failing to provide a response to the requests within the statutory timeframe of 20 working days. The Commissioner requires the CPS to provide a formal response to the requests of 20 and 21 December 2012 which is in compliance with FOIA.
