BAILII is celebrating 24 years of free online access to the law! Would you consider making a contribution?
No donation is too small. If every visitor before 31 December gives just £1, it will have a significant impact on BAILII's ability to continue providing free access to the law.
Thank you very much for your support!

Summary: The complainant requested copies of two closed files at The National Archives (TNA). TNA disclosed some information from both files but withheld the remaining information on the basis of the exemptions at sections 37(1)(a), 40(2) and 41(1) FOIA. The Commissioner-™s decision is that TNA was entitled to withhold the remaining information (referred to as the disputed information in this notice) on the basis of the exemption at section 37(1)(a).
