9 September 2014, Central government
The complainant requested information regarding the training of marksmen for the culling of badgers in Gloucester and Somerset. The Commissioner determined that some of the information that had been withheld should be disclosed to the complainant and Defra provided this to the complainant during the investigation. His decision is that EIRs 12(4)(a), 12(5)(a) and 12(5)(e) were applied correctly to the remainder of the information. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any further steps.
