24 June 2014, Local government (Borough council)
The complainant has requested information with regards to a compulsory purchase order. Trafford Borough Council (the council) provided the information redacting parts under section 40 of the FOIA. The complainant is not satisfied that the council has provided all of the information and also is not satisfied with the time it took to be provide all of the information. The Commissioner’s decision is that the council has now provided all the information it holds within the scope of the request but has breached section 10(1) of the FOIA as it took some 11 months to provide it all. As the council has now provided the information it holds, the Commissioner does not require the council to take any steps.
FOI 1: Not upheld FOI 10: Upheld
