The complainant submitted various requests about the disposal of a particular piece of land in 1973. Caerwent Community Council (‘the Council’) stated that it did not hold the information requested. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council did not deal with the request in compliance with section 1(1) of the FOIA. The Commissioner requires the public authority to issue a fresh response under the FOIA.
