The complainant requested the value of a deceased person’s estate. The Treasury Solicitor’s Department (TSol) refused the request under section 31(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the Act), as disclosure would be likely to prejudice the prevention of crime. The Commissioner’s decision is that TSol correctly refused the request under section 31(1)(a). No further action is required.
