The complainant requested information relating to the Crime (Sentences) Act 1997. The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) failed to respond to this request and the Commissioner’s decision is that, in so doing, it breached sections 1(1) and 10(1) of the FOIA. The Commissioner requires the MoJ to respond to the request.
