1 September 2014, Local government (District council)
The complainant has requested copies of all documents relating to an oil fired installation for his property and all correspondence relating to a handrail for disability access at his property. South Somerset District Council (SSDC) states that the complainant has been provided with access to all relevant documentation falling within the scope of his request and it holds no other information. The Commissioner’s decision is that the council does not hold any other information relevant to the request. However, as the council did not provide a response to the complainant’s request within the statutory timescale of 20 working days it has breached section 10 of the FOIA. The Commissioner does not require the council to take any further action.
FOI 1: Not upheld
