8 October 2014, Education (University)
The complainant has requested information from the University of Oxford (“the University”) consisting of details in relation to the recovery of sums due in respect of legal billing invoices submitted by the University’s legal advisors and in respect of which there had been a Conditional Fee Arrangement (“CFA”) between the University and its legal advisors. The University provided some information to the complainant which was within the scope of the request, but withheld the remaining information relying upon section 42(1) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the University has correctly applied section 42 of the FOIA in this case. He therefore requires no steps to be taken.
FOI 42: Not upheld
