The complainant made a freedom of information request to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for information regarding a prosecution involving a company called Eagle Star Insurance. The HSE refused the request under section 12 of FOIA on the grounds that the cost of complying with it would exceed the appropriate limit. The Commissioner has investigated the complaint and found that section 12 was correctly applied. He requires no steps to be taken. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2014/0196 upheld (sub DN)
