21 July 2014, Local government (City council)
The complainant submitted a multi-part request to Oxford City Council (the Council) requesting information relating to a hostel for homeless people. The Council cited section 12 of FOIA (cost of compliance exceeds the appropriate limit). The Commissioner has investigated and found that the Council was entitled to rely on section 12(1) of FOIA in respect of those parts of the request to which it considered that that section applied. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken as a result of this decision.
FOI 12: Not upheld
