7 July 2014, Local government (Other)
The complainant has requested information about an investigation into a named company. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) refused to confirm or deny whether it held the information requested under section 43(3) and 44(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). The Commissioner’s decision is that the FCA was correct to neither confirm or deny whether it held the information requested under section 44(2) FOIA. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken.
FOI 44: Not upheld
