The complainant requested information about the operation of Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act 2000 at London Southend Airport. The Home Office stated that it did not hold this information. Whilst the Commissioner is of the view that the Home Office could have handled the complainant’s request better, his decision is that the Home Office stated correctly and in line with section 1(1)(a) of the FOIA that it did not hold the requested information.
