The complainant has requested from the University of Bolton (the “University”) information relating to a staff member’s academic qualifications. The University refused to comply with the request and applied section 14(1) of the FOIA to the request. The Commissioner’s decision is that the University has correctly applied section 14(1) of the FOIA. Therefore the Commissioner does not require the University to take any steps.
