17 December 2015, Local government (District council)
The complainant has requested information from the London Borough of Islington (“the Council”) relating to the reasons behind why a specific property was allowed an extension of time to buy the freehold. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council has correctly withheld the information under section 40(2) of the FOIA. The Commissioner requires the Council to take no steps.
