The complainant requested various information from Trinity Hall in connection with a benefaction made to it by a private benefactor. Trinity Hall withheld the requested information in its entirety citing sections 40(2) and 43(2) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that Trinity Hall correctly applied section 40(2) of the FOIA. The Commissioner does not require Trinity Hall to take any steps to ensure compliance with the legislation.
