7 September 2016, Education (University)
The complainant has requested information from the University of South Wales (“the University”) relating to a complaint made to the University by a named individual regarding the copying/misappropriation/plagiarism of work/ideas by another named individual. The University would neither confirm nor deny holding any information citing section 40(5)(b)(i) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the University correctly applied section 40(5)(b)(i) and requires the University to take no steps.
FOI 40: Not upheld
