1 August 2016, Police and criminal justice
The complainant has requested 10 years details of budgetary costs for providing “Specialist Protection” from the Metropolitan Police Service (the “MPS”). The MPS refused to provide the information citing the exemptions at sections 24(1) (national security), 31(1)(a)(b) (law enforcement) and 38(1)(b) (health and safety) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that it was entitled to do so. No steps are required.
FOI 24: Not upheld
