22 November 2016, Education (College)
The complainant has requested copies of various policies operated by Ridley Hall, a theological college. Ridley Hall did not initially respond to the request and subsequently explained that it was not obliged to on the basis that it was not a public authority for the purposes of FOIA. The Commissioner has determined that Ridley Hall is not subject to FOIA and therefore it did not have a duty to issue a response under the legislation. Accordingly, she does not require any steps to be taken as a result of this notice.
FOI 3: Not upheld
