Marian Waddell, a former nursing auxiliary was fined for accessing a patient and her neighbour's medical records without a valid legal reason.

She worked at Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport and unlawfully accessed the records of a patient who was also her neighbour. She was fined £232 and was ordered to pay £150 costs and a victim surcharge of £30.
