The complainant has requested information from Wigan Borough Clinical Commissioning Group (‘the CCG’) about the data controller for Ashton, Leigh and Wigan Primary Care Trust during 2009. The CCG’s position is that it does not hold this information. The Commissioner’s decision is that the CCG has complied with its obligations under section 1(1)(a) and section 1(1)(b) of the FOIA. She considers that the CCG confirmed to the complainant that it does not hold the information he has requested, and she is satisfied that the information is not held. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any steps.
FOI 1: Not upheld
