14 December 2017, Police and criminal justice
The complainant has requested from the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) information broadly relating to the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and also for information relating to the care of his late father. The Commissioner’s decision is that the IPCC has correctly applied section 21 of the FOIA to some parts of the request. Therefore, the Commissioner does not require any steps to be taken to ensure compliance with the legislation.
FOI 21: Not upheld
