Invest Northern Ireland

The complainant has requested information in relation to a start-up grant given by Invest NI. Invest NI disclosed some information to the complainant, however it refused to disclose the remaining information (“the withheld information”), citing sections 40(2), 41, 43(1) and 43(2) as a basis for non-disclosure. The Commissioner’s decision is that Invest NI has correctly applied the section 40(2) and 43(2) exemptions to the entirety of the withheld information. Therefore the Commissioner requires no steps to be taken.
