Maritime and Coastguard Agency

The complainant has requested information about the NLMK1 life-raft.  The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (‘the MCA’) has categorised the requests as vexatious under section 14(1) of the FOIA and has refused to comply with them.  The Commissioner’s decision is as follows: The complainant’s requests are vexatious and the MCA is not obliged to comply with them. The Commissioner does not require the MCA to take any steps to ensure compliance with the legislation.
