Hampshire County Council

The complainant requested information about a road sign placed at a certain location by the relevant department of Hampshire County Council. The Council refused to comply with this request on the grounds that it considered it to be manifestly unreasonable in accordance with Regulation 12(4)(b) of the EIR. The Commissioner’s decision is that the complainant’s request was manifestly unreasonable under Regulation 12(4)(b)and therefore the Council was not required to comply with it. The Commissioner does not require the Council to take any steps.
