Department of Finance Northern Ireland

The complainant has requested information from the Department regarding a recruitment process. The Department disclosed some information to him, however it refused to disclose the remainder, citing section 40(2) of the FOIA as a basis for non-disclosure. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Department has correctly applied section 40(2) of the FOIA to the withheld information. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken.
