Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service

The complainant has requested from the Metropolitan Police Service (the “MPS”) information about the disciplinary records of a named former police officer. The Commissioner’s decision is that the MPS is entitled to rely on section 40(5) to refuse to confirm or deny that it holds the information. The Commissioner does not require the MPS to take any further steps.
