The complainant has requested intelligence information held by Hertfordshire Constabulary on child criminal exploitation. Hertfordshire Constabulary cited section 23(5) (Information supplied by, or relating to, bodies dealing with security matters) of FOIA to neither confirm nor deny (‘NCND’) whether it held any relevant information. The Commissioner’s decision is that Hertfordshire Constabulary was entitled to rely on section 23(5) of FOIA to NCND whether it held the requested information.
