British Transport Police

The complainant requested from British Transport Police (BTP) information relating to body worn video footage by officers showing PC [name redacted] turning off body worn video of a fellow officer. BTP refused the request under section 40(2) (personal information) of FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that BTP was entitled to rely on section 40(2) of FOIA to withhold the requested information. Therefore, the Commissioner does not require BTP to take any steps as a result of this decision.

FOI 40(2): Complaint not upheld

Decision notice: 146114
