Ribble Valley Borough Council

The complainant requested information from Ribble Valley Borough Council (“the Council”) relating to wells in Clitheroe. The Council has disclosed some information in response to the request, however the complainant believes the Council holds further information within the scope of parts 2, 3 and 6 of the request. The Commissioner’s decision is that, on the balance of probabilities, the Council does not hold any further information within the scope of parts 2, 3 and 6 of the request, beyond that which it has already disclosed. However, the Commissioner has found that the Council breached section 10(1) of FOIA by failing to provide a full response to the request within the statutory time frame of 20 working days. The Commissioner does not require the Council to take any steps.

FOI 10: Complaint upheld FOI 1: Complaint not upheld

Decision notice: 213335
