The complainant has requested information from the Post Office in relation to the 2016 Swift Review. The Post Office refused to provide the requested information, citing section 42 of FOIA – legal professional privilege. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Post Office has correctly relied on section 42(1) of FOIA to withhold the requested information.
