Northern Ireland Housing Executive
The complainant requested information about the housing need assessment for the Greater Shankhill area. The Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) provided the information requested. It also provided additional information relevant to the request in its internal review and also during the Commissioner’s investigation. NIHE continued to withhold some information under sections 36(2)(b)(i) and (ii), and 36(2)(c) (prejudice to effective conduct of public affairs) of the FOIA and regulation 12(4)(e) of the EIR. The Commissioner’s decision is that NIHE has correctly applied section 36(2)(b)(i), 36(2)(b)(ii), 36(2)(c) of the FOIA and regulation 12(4)(e) of the EIR to the request. The Commissioner does not require any steps to be taken.
