Chief Constable Kent Police

The complainant requested incident command logs relating to the ‘Just Stop Oil’ and ‘Insulate Britain’ climate protests, from Kent Police. Kent Police disclosed three documents, with redactions made under sections 24(1) (National security), 31(1)(a) and (b) (Law enforcement) and 40(2) (Personal information) of FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that Kent Police was entitled to rely on sections 31(1)(a) and (b) of FOIA to refuse to disclose the withheld information.
