Chief Constable of Humberside Police

The complainant has requested information about a FOIA disclosure log. Humberside Police (HP) confirmed that it does not hold information within the scope of the request. The Commissioner’s decision is that, on the balance of probabilities, HP is correct when it says that it does not hold any information within the description set out in the request. However, the Commissioner finds that HP breached section 10(1) of FOIA as it failed to provide its response to the request within the statutory 20 working days. The Commissioner does not require HP to take any further steps.

FOI 10: Complaint upheld FOI 1: Complaint not upheld

Decision notice: 250608
