The complainant has requested a copy of a closed file, T 233/2026 . The National Archives (TNA) refused to provide the requested information, citing section 37(1)(a) (Communications with His Majesty and the awarding of honours). The Commissioner’s decision is that TNA was correct to refuse the request under section 37(1)(a). The Commissioner does not require further steps.
