This was one of two closely related actions (the other being an opposition) concerning the same parties and substantially the same issues (see BL O/473/02). The Hearing Officer’s reasoning and findings were very much the same, mutatis mutandis, as in the related case, save that in this case there was no registration or application of EASYHOTEL extant at the relevant date and hence the application failed on all grounds.
